Chaperones


Description: Chaperones for Marching Band at home games and chaperones for Marching Band at competitions. Chaperone music students during concerts while they are in the audience watching other groups perform.
Here is some information:

How many chaperones for football games? 3-4

For home games, plan to be in the Band Room at 5-5:30.
  • Assist students with uniforms
  • Tape sleeves
  • Put plumes in shako (hat)
  • Ensure water cooler is filled by students and then chaperones roll it down to the stadium (for competitions they ensure it is put on the truck)
  • Ensure there are cups for water

For Competitions, arrival time TBD (keep the day open otherwise)
  • Chaperones ride the bus to competition.
  • Assist students with uniforms
  • Tape sleeves
  • Put plumes in shako (hat)
  • Ensure water cooler is filled by students and then chaperones ensure it is put on the truck
  • Ensure there are cups for water
  • Take the "Mom" bag and first aid kit
  • Generally assist the students

For Concert Chaperones
Monitor students while they are in the audience watching the other performances.

Pizza Sale


Pizza sale pick-up day help is needed. Please report to the music suite. Students will help and sign up on their own at school, but adult help is needed in two shifts from 2-4 and from 4-6.
